I was behind a bus recently waiting at a set of red lights. There was a cyclist (in all the lycra gear so must be a proper cyclist) going mental as he could not get up the inside of the bus so he could get to the front of the que! I thought the cyclist was daft as to be honest the bus was about the width of the lane. I think there is a mix with cyclists, same as motorists, some good, some bad. I think the law that is being proposed is silly, common sense gone out of the window! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

So what will happen if this becomes law? After an incident the car driver will hang around and wait to be prosecuted, or just keep on going...

And as the weather gets better and all the "cycling clubs" take to the road, and you get a group of 10 - 15 two abreast, down an A or B road like an UN-coordinated Drunken snake. (apologies to the snakes in the grass at the side of the road) Insurance should be compulsory (for cyclists) Lycra should be advisory, makes Identity easier ..??? And rules of the road to be carried at all times . Helmet cam,s and driver cameras to be made compulsory. Video evidence to be made available to all parties... Me ,I think I will re-launch H.M.S TROUTBRIDGE, (my radio still tunes to the Light program) have a Jug of Pimm,s. service the lawnmower for Mrs M. and look forward to a long Summer and Fall on the sun lounger well off the roads .!!! Wales Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper. (And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! ) Sd4 and chrome Ar*e piece, Auto box for best fun 09 Xs Gone 12 xs Gone HSE with Leather seats and 4 years warrenty.. staying for now ! |

Regardless of your views on cyclists OR motorists, automatically blaming one party in the event of an accident is just plain wrong and makes a mockery of the legal system. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc

We cyclists pay the same road tax as the cleanness cars on the road £0.00 because we burn no fuel un-like car do !!! Plus I do like most other cyclists have insurance If the laws come in LIKE there are I think in Holland !! (everyone will have to think what they do on the roads !!!) I Think the law states the bigger party is always to blame !!! ( freelander is hit by an x-trail ??) freelander's fault.) All we need to do is to slow down a little on both sides, leave for work 5 minutes early and no ones in a rush !!! Safe driving every one ( car ,bus truck, bike. ) |

City driving is a battle for survival whether on a cycle, in a car or just being a pedestrian. We all want to get somewhere and none of us are innocent if we can see 'a gap' that needs filling. We are a lone independent, no friends with all others being our enemies, we take no prisoners until the battle is over and we reach our place of work, we then revert to being a nice person again

I believe it acts as a warming effect much like the heated seats on the freelander. Harmful methane gasses expelled from your bicycle will be charged if you exceed the limit of 17 farts per day. When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

Excellent clip, but hardly surprising. The police frequently consider themselves above the law and definitely do not take kindly to being questioned. I have been tailgated several times by police late at night, and can only assume they are trying to push me over the speed limit. I followed one for many miles a little while back and he never once indicated!
