Headlight pin removal

Hi has anyone ever removed the pins from the back of a headlight plug. I am trying to alter the pin arrangement on a 2013 headlight and add a drl relay but don't know how to get the pins out of the plug..

Not the easiest of jobs to do!! The pins are held in by a lip on the pin (If they
have not changed in design) You need a very fine needle to bend the lip in
while pushing the pin out backwards Thumbs Up 2013 Dynamic Santorini black

sometimes towing an Elldis AVANTE 574.
