Rearview Camera

Anybody looked into installing a rearview (backup) camera to their FL2/LR2, one that could ideally integrate with the navigation system?

I don't beleive it is possible to intergrate with the Nav Screen due to it not having a TV functionality like the RRS and D3 (LR3) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Some guys on disco3 have installed said cam, the video inputs are on the back of the screen, round connectors.

As npinks said, I do not no if it is possable but this thread is worth a read.

Thanks for the replies. Looking at that other thread, it seems that others are using a wireless camera with a separate monitor that one can hang off the dash or visor. Might be the way to go, though I'm not the type to tinker with the electrical system of the car to power the rearview camera. Think I'll ask my dealer about it, and I'll let you know what they say.

Wiggs (on DISCO3) installed a TV (+ freeview) into his Sat. Nav screen, and later an aforementioned reversing camera through the screen.

He's a techno-wiz and very nice guy, sure he'd help answer your question riverr02.
