i believe they are flat, as there is no blind spot section marked on Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Mine are slightly convex, lay a straight edge on the glass, if its flush across the straight edge it's flat, if it rocks its convex. |

What would be good is the interior mirror having the same level of convex so that when you look in any of the mirrors the vehicle behind you is the same size. |

Most all modern cars have convex side mirrors to allow a wider field of view for safety. The rearview is normally flat to give a more detailed and accurate view of what's behind allowing distance judgement. Also a convex rearview would cover too much of the back seat area which could be distracting. Everything is relative to my point of view |

On foreign market cars mainly in the US they have some wording printed at the bottom of the mirrors, sort of manufacturers covering there a**e type, which more or less says what youre seeing in the mirror might not be as it supposed to be. |
