Had a trip up to South Shields today, went via the A66, was a blizzard dropping down the other side, 2 degrees and very windy, drifts are melting away albeit rather slowly up on the tops.

The snow here's been brilliant, but it's melting fast now. I'll be back to post another photo of the snow when I get home tomorrow to show you just how good it's been in places! Very Happy

My best friend and his brother normally drive his freelander through there flat out chasing the rally as he is the rally stage closing car they are well cheesed off

The rally was 'postponed'. I assume it will take place later this year?

The rally has been cancelled for 2013 as they could not find a date that suited all the different championships plus one of the forests is closed to motor sport for the summer months due to bike and walking events.
