Bambi, if its got a 150bhp TD4 engine, it will be a facelift MY11. Pre-MY11 models only had one engine choice, a 160bhp TD4.

Dickie they will probably offer you £18k only a guess you understand but they want to make £4-5k on the deal.

I would probably sell privately, you will get a better deal. As bambi said, dealers are always looking for at least a £1k profit. I went into an Alfa Romeo Dealer yesterday to look at a new Mito for SWMBO. The trade-in price they gave us was £8k! That's for an 08 plate Audi A3 2.0TDI with 44,000 miles on the clock! It looks like I'm going to sell it privately as hopefully I can get £9-10k for it.

Are you using a tablet/iPad? I use my iPad all of the time for posting on this forum. I sometimes find that copying the BBC code is a pain, it sometimes lets me copy it and other times it doesn't work. I've had to resort to writing the BBC code down by hand and copying that onto a thread. Are they in your gallery? If they are, you could copy and paste a link onto a thread.

I've had it advertised on another enthusiasts website for a couple of weeks now without so much as an enquiry?!

I've got it up for £23,500 so perhaps this is my issue!

When I first started down this road about a month ago the LR dealer in Southampton said if I could find a car I'd be happy to swap into then my GS would be worth about £21k trade-in.

That sounds like quite a good deal to me. I'd go for it.

I would have at the time but they didn't have an HSE for similar money to trade it in for!
