had to stop in Dalwhinnie last night with reduce engine performance, phoned LandRover assist and they sent recovery lorry from Spean Bridge two hours later i was on the move again on the back of recovery lorry all the way to Aberdeen, technician due to arrive between 8-10,

happy Easter 1995 P38 now dead

AA man has turned up and plugged it in and found a faulty sensor on the DPF, Aberdeen has no stock of the part needed so then told to drive it 70 miles to Elgin my reply was NO what is the other options, so the up shot is recovery on lorry to Elgin, when will it be fixed i dont know,

next problem i leave on Sunday to Mallaig for 2 weeks work at sea out of phone range so it looks like a hire car from Enterprise, so if they need it back early from me than that don't know what will happen 1995 P38 now dead

Thats a rubbish start to the Easter weekend hope you get it sorted.

Happened to my brand new 2012 last year after only 68 miles!!! They took her away on a low loader. 

just had a phone call from Enterprise to say they wont supply me with a car for 2 weeks so it looks like they are going to drive me to Mallaig drop me off then collect me 2 week later 1995 P38 now dead

I thought LRA were obliged to supply you with a car.

Is it because they don't have a like for like car? Or just reluctance to get one to your location.

I know when my D3 died they sourced a car from another branch, although they did offer an alternative.......... Chevrolet Matiz I would need one for each cheek. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

they simply wont supply me with a car for 2 weeks even if its for my business

just had a phone call from Frank ogg Elgin i will get a car for today and up to 8 pm tomorrow then i have to order a TAXI to take me from Aberdeen to Mallaig on Sunday and then order another taxi to get me home 2 week later which Frank Ogg are going to pay,

I had reduced engine performance not long after I got mine. It was the differential sensor. To be honest, they said it was ok to carry on using but obviously you are rev limited. After a day or so the reduced message still showed but the car drove as normal.

just off the phone to Frank Ogg Elgin, quotes for a Taxi is £450 to get me over there and the same to get home, so common sense has prevailed and i can KEEP THE HIRE CAR UNTIL I GET HOME

yeah with mine enterprise dropped off a brand new Disco 4 HSE.... I said there's no rush with getting mine back lol

gees you are not having much luck are you...

this is the first real test drive i have had in a Evoque, i do like the auto gearbox i should have opted for the auto in the Freelander, rear vision out that letter box window is useless but there is a camera fitted so that helps 1995 P38 now dead
