My 56 plate se has had no issues at all. Very happy with it.Now has 48k on clock, and am looking for an 08 09 similar spec 

I have now joined this part of the club. 2" long split on side of drivers seat. Car just 4 years old and just under 28000 miles. Previous Range Rover did 10 years and 122000 miles with no problems and my last car Lexus RX300 I had for 5.5 years and sold with seats like new. Written to local dealer. Silver 2009 HSE

Just been advised from local dealer that Land Rover say that my car falls outside of age restriction for contribution to repair of seat. Not very impressed with Land Rover. Silver 2009 HSE

It's a known fault. Get on to Liam at LR Customer Services via here....I'm sure he will escalate your concerns. Foraging near Gaydon....

I had the same problem with drivers side seat and had it repaired just inside the 3 year warranty. At the time I said I wasn't very happy with the quality of the side panel and asked whether the same would happen to the passenger side. I was assured that the passenger side would be ok. But just recently noticed the splits starting on the passenger side. I contacted customer services and the dealer, but today they got back to me and said they would not repair.

What nobody has answered here or from LR is the fact that the spec said "Napoli leather" and not "part Napoli leather". I certainly thought I had bought full leather. Can anyone point to anywhere in the spec that refers to part leather seats?

LR have offered money off my next landrover purchase but I feel this is unacceptable for two reasons. 1. My existing car will be worh less because of split seats, and, 2. When buying a new car there is always negotiation on price so how would I know that I couldn't have negotiated the same value off myself?
