A long shot - but I thought I would ask if anyone has had to produce bell curves in excel before.
It is 30 years since I last did statistic and I don't remember a thing about it!

Basically I have a list of score achievements, and the number of people who achieved those scores.
i.e.

Score #of people
F 0
A 2
E 3
B 10
C 20
D 42

I have been asked if I could plot these results on a bell curve but I have no idea how to go about this.
I have googled, you tubed etc - and although I have found a lot of info' it assumes I know about means, deviations etc. Which I don't. And the worled examples I have found never quite relate to what I am trying to do.

Im ok on excel - and can obviously create graphs - in this case I believe an x,y scatter graph - but how I convert those scores to a bell curve so I can the graph it is the issue.
