My understand of using to much Fuel: to much stuff and weight in boot = hi fuel use..

Could also reduce weight by removing unused seats And over inflate the tyres to make the car lighter.

Does OP mean using a can of sealer that inflates the tyre too ? Im pretty sure its just about impossible to get them repaired and its new tyre time. |

I see your point but you have to consider when you get a flat tyre say, its happens not to be repairable with the inflation kit, so you have to wait for the recovery folk to come along and collect it, its freezing cold so you may as well keep the engine running to keep the family warm whilst you wait and listen to the mrs moaning about you penny pinching ideas, by the time the recovery get there youve used up all the fuel youve saved not having a spare and thinking about the divorce cost, its not worth it mate believe me!! |
