Thinking of taking out full size spare putting in puncher kit?

Has any one done this and what did you replace with ?

I don't think the subject has been covered, not this way around anyway Everyone has been wanting to replace with a full size spare, why would you want to do this

My understand of using to much Fuel: to much stuff and weight in boot = hi fuel use..

So was thinking of Taking out Spare to reduce weight ,when I'm loaded up with diving cylinders and kit. But would need some thing just in case..

Does this make sense or over thinking?

Yes that makes sense as a temporary measure when you need the space, there must be kits available here and on the 'bay' as many are getting rid for spare wheels.

Can't see that there would be much gain in fuel though, a woman's handbag weighs nearly as much as a spare wheel seriously a minute change in driving conditions would lose what you thought you had gained in any MPG

This was one of the reason why I got FR2 ,for my diving to get to some hard spots..

Had a kit for motor bike green slime stuff,work great.Now looking for FR2

Weight of spare = 2 cylinders... so take out the spare counter act's the weight of the 2 cylinder normally I carry 6 of them Iain

Could also reduce weight by removing unused seats And over inflate the tyres to make the car lighter.

Does OP mean using a can of sealer that inflates the tyre too ? Im pretty sure its just about impossible to get them repaired and its new tyre time.
