I have just put 2 pix of the new FL2 in my 'gallery' if I've done it right. I couldn't work out how to put them in this message!

I collected it on Wednesday & I am just learning how everythign works & playing with all the toys.
I am very pleased with it apart from the fact it has to go back to the dealership to have a new windscreen fitted! There is a 'defect' in the glass that was not noticed before it left the factory & the dealership only noticed it when it was being prepared on the day I collected it! I'm not best pleased about that but there you go.

Looking forward to getting out & about in it now

Looking at pics of the new interior I am very tempted to downsize when I change

Not sure about the new sport and expect the price is going to be a killer for me too - will mean selling the twin axle and going back to single axle but might be worth it because I never had any problems with my last 2 FL2's - wish I could say the same for the RRS

Looking very nice.

Almost went for Baltic Blue myself, but plumped for Aintree Green instead.

Just one more week to go before I can join the happy band of MY2013 owners.

Yes, the windscreen problem was a bit disappointing on collection day, I'll have to see what in the way of goodwill they offer me (if anything)

Welcome to another 13MY owner. They are lovely. After 5 years and 90,000 miles in an 08-plate (09MY), I'm very happy and I must admit I'm tempted to wave when I see another set of DRLs coming towards me.

Not spotting the screen flaw is a shame but we are all human it seems. Mine, seen the day it came off the trasnporter, then picked up a very small road test stone or workshop graze on the front end that the bodyshop polished out after I'd spotted it on handover day. Now I've found a spec of dirt in the paint on the wing close to the bonnet. Perfection is tough and even Six-Sigma quality allows for 3.4 defects per million!

Sweeteners to say sorry:
Have you got a full set of mats? (Cheap for the dealer to give away)
Including a boot mat?
Or a boot tray?
How about them fitting you mud flaps all round while they're doing the screen?

I know what you mean too about MY13's, I haven't actually seen one on the road myself as yet. I'm sure it won't be long though!

Beginning of May??? And there was me being grumpy about having to wait two weeks for mine. I remember having to wait ages for my custom built car last time, I've just been lucky to find an already built car that (almost) suits.
