Anyone got ideas on this ? Would it be useful or not up to the job ? Seems cheap,comments appreciated from anyone with experiance of these things.

I don't have an Aldi near me, but several people on other forums I use often praise their stuff. |

I have a similar thing not from aldi, works well for the job I need it for, but its a bit of a possible finger trapper and if the wire rope frays the strands are as sharp as.

Agreed. Hand winching is slow hard work. Those little ones are all identical as far as I have seen, must be all made in the same factory in China. The best hand winch is a Tirfor but they are very heavy to carry around and still hard work. |
