I have a GS in the UK, I too was expecting the door mirrors to dip when reverse is engaged, I was told that by a salesperson !!!! However I've mentioned it here on the forums previously and it seems it is only a feature on top end models.

just checked the handbook and anti trap should work on all four windows (although it does carry the warning that even with anti trap there is still a risk of serious injury or death!)

I guess that it should be fairly easy to check if you have anti trap: just 'hit' smoothly your window as it closes and it should retract by a few cm's. It causes no problem to the window mechanism and you'll make sure you have anti-trap installed. At least this used to work with an old opel vectra i used to have. |

There is a section in the handbook on re-setting the window. I followed the instructions. Hey presto it works .... all four windows operate one shot down & one shot up. |
