United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black
Time to Trade Up!

I have just spend a horrid afternoon blistering my fingers touching up some small scratches on my 2010 XS (which is pretty hard work, it seems) all because in five days time it goes back to the finance company to be replaced by.....

A Ford Focus!

Ok, Ok, not really. Instead I convinced the wife that we really should have an automatic MY 2013 HSE in Santorini Black, with privacy glass and a spoiler.

I am unfeasibly excited. It's like being a small boy again.

I won't be sad to see 'ol smokey go, if I'm honest, despite it getting me out of numerous tough situations over the last three years!

Anyway, I shall try to post some pictures when my new baby arrives!

Ok, well in HSE trim level the options are eD4 Manual (2 wheel drive?!?!?!?), TD4 Manual and SD4 Auto. So mine's and SD4 Auto.

Things must of changed with new model. Pre MY 13 you had a choice of TD4 in manual or auto on the HSE spec.

Things haven't changed, you can still opt for the automatic in TD4 HSE trim level.

Just looked myself too, but on the build your own site, the TD4 option on the HSE does only show manual, although the Lux shows both!!

Yes, but on specifications/choose your model/choose your engine the TD4 HSE has the auto option

Strange Smile

Unrelated to post, but has your rear chrome arse piece started wearing away the paint on each outer edge EY ?

Got me worried now, hang on I'm going out with the torch Surprised

EDIT: No, I have a nice even gap between the chromed 'arse' piece and the painted top and ends of the strip and the whole 'arse' piece against hatch is good also Smile

Glad yours is good mate, noticed mine has worn a bit at each end. I have put a small piece of elastic band under mine so I have a nice gap too now. Very Happy
