United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Lago Grey

I'll stick my neck out and say it's legit.

It's in a lot of the major publications now (including the Top Gear website, the Telegraph, etc), and they seem to think it's for real. Story is that the car was taken to a tinting shop (presumably in the States) to have custom tints applied for a US commercial, and that an employee there took some pictures and circulated them to his friends.

The pictures look entirely plausible to me, and look as one might expect a new RRS to look. Many of the lines are the same as the current RRS, it's mainly around the lights and grilles that there are changes.

Also, LR published a 'teaser' picture with a blur effect applied, but the colour and what one can make out of the lines match these pics.

Yep - legit!

Looks like the Evoke styling could be going across the range. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
