£5k dealer contribution at Hunters?

Anyone taken advantage of this offer:
http://www.hunterslandrover.co.uk/special-...der-2.aspx

Appears to include a 5k dealer contribution, that seems quite the deal? I guess there wouldn't be much scope for negotiating beyond that 'discount'...

Don't know, but they all seem to be having a sales push at the moment. Marshalls are having a special event at the moment. Quote:
"Land Rover have supplied Marshall with a superb choice of over 500 brand new cars to sell during the 11 day event. In order to achieve this unprecedented level of sales across such a short space of time we realise that we need to offer our customers extra-ordinary deals that they will find almost impossible to resist."

I had a letter this morning from Hunters about a used car event offering a similar deal, let's hope it's a success for all the dealers, it can only help push the brand forward.........and think of all the new members, "what's your favourite colour" "I expected to get 58mpg" And the old chestnut " will a spare fob off ebay work" oh joy of joys Whistle

I promise no posts about key fobs or poor mileage when I get my grubby hands on a FL2 Smile

Can you tell me the details of the Hunters used offer?

The offer I have received in the mail is from Hunters in Preston.
It details the above along with offers on 10 "company" vehicles, enhanced finance rates etc.
As I am in the North and your darn sarth the offers will change but certainly all the dealers seem to be having a sales push, probably as a result of good March '13' reg sales, they will have a considerable used stock to shift.
Get your bargaining head on and go for it, don't let the offers fool you into thinking they have no meat left to play with.

Don't worry about your grubby hands, the two bucket method will have those clean in a flash Laughing

Ha ha, I'm a new member. Had my motor a few weeks now and over the moon with it. Did all the research on the forums reading the moans and groans which was helpful. Being ex military I drove L/Rs back in the 80s. Appreciate that this is a very different vehicle, just had to have one.

Some good stuff on this forum which is very beneficial to sort out any problems or pick up tips. I cannot promise that I won't ask stupid questions!!!! Cool

Cheers mate. Sorted out my first problem yesterday where the led lights were not working on the auto gear select. Just searched on here and hay presto found the problem identified and the solution. That is what is good about this forum as it probably contains most problems and solutions. So for me I will always first do the work and search. Guess if I don't find what I need the end result may look like a stupid question Cool
