Rear diff on a 2008 diesel

Can anyone tell me what oil goes in the rear diff.
I've been told to use 80w90 and 0.7 litres.
I've sucked out the old oil and its like mud.

Handbook says Castrol EPX for rear diff.

Yeah the local motor factors don't do castrol
They went on the PC and said 80w90
The castrol expect comes in an 80w 90 grade so I think it's compatable

Hi Folks I'm new to the forum, I'm in the process of having a new Diff and Haldex unit fitted by an independent, my question is: is all Haldex oil the same (ie vw,Audi,LR,Volvo) or do they differ? Thanks. Colin

I had my haldex pump replaced in the rear diff and the oil was a land rover labelled product and dammed expensive too, came in 2 small bottles.
Think the actual diff oil is different and more than likely 80w90.
