The long wait

What is a reasonable waiting time to get the vehicle (still in warranty) into the dealership to attend to a problem? The response I would like from the dealer is "bring it in tomorrow and we will take a look at it". What I am getting at the moment is "the earliest we could take a look at it would be in two weeks time" and then they tell me how busy they are.

When I say I am worried that the problem could result in a breakdown or damage to the vehicle I am told to call Land Rover Assistance if I do end up with a breakdown.

I feel this is shabby service. However before I get angry with the service manager I thought I would find out how long others have to wait to get your vehicles into your local dealers for investigation and repairs.

I would imagine it would depend on the problem.
