screwdriver gets it off and back on. There are normally 2 hooks in the middle section which hook into holes and the 2 arms reach out to brace against the caliper bracket.
The spring kind of pivots around how it hooks into the holes. to get it off, I normally just put the screwdriver under parts of it, lever it, and it pops off.
To refit, I normally try to angle it so the hooks point at and go into the holes first, then pivot it on the hooks to push it in and a screwdriver to lever the arms into the right place.
Unlike the hooks, the arms don't really click into place, they generally just rest on the metal in place.
