wheel alignment resolved, took car back and they redone alignment with steering wheel in correct setting.

My car was handed over to me with mis aligned wheels by the dealer! I noticed it straight away as I too cannot abide an out of line steering wheel. I complained, they said they'd set it up correctly, but after some 'frank exchanging of views' they agreed to have another look. After a laser alignment I got a grovelling apology. That said, it seems easy to knock it out of alignement. |

As Yorkshire rightly says, each rod must be adjusted proportionally to maintain a centred steering wheel. If all of the misalignment is taken up from one rod only, the wheel will be off centre.
