I dare say this is coincidental rather than something to do with freel2.com but will post just in case. Just browsing the site and an alert popped up on Sophos (I have a MacBook Pro) that declared spyware had been detected and quarantined. When I opened the quarantine manager it had gone because in my settings I have it set to destroy once captured/quarantined.
