Good plan, it's better to wait for the next plate. My car is on a "61" plate but was registered on 5th September, so it looks newer for longer.

I'm not too sure about the "13" plate though, some people think its unlucky.

Had that going back a while ago. it was a 2000 plate, and traded in 2003. Absolutely loved it. only downside was that for a 4wd it was light and you felt it when motorway driving - wind blew you across lanes! Never missed a beat in 3 years, and it really could shift. Toyota Rav4 2.0

Well, it's here and I love it. i've put a link to a quick phone camera picture of it, in the My Freelander section.

First observation is that I was expecting it to have conti's, but it's got Pirelli Scorpion Zero's.
