2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Indus Silver

Towed a FFRR up a hill, warmed the clutch a little! Had a flat battery due to a dodgy trailer plug.

Very Happy

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Pulled a tree trunk 6 metres long, wider than I could reach around (and I'm 6'8!) up a hillside in torrential rain we were camping on. We were going to chop it up for firewood but couldn't be bothered to carry it up after chopping!

Funniest bit was that I then had to go back down to tow my mates Ford Ranger up!! Thumbs Up Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Impressive stuff @ Truro. Was the driver grateful?

yep, he even offered some money, i suspect he was grateful for averting an embarassing call to his boss!

I've been told I was dragged up Neutral

As you can see 'southoftruro', it doesn't take long on this forum to go off topic Laughing but no I haven't hitched a rope up in anger yet.
So have you booked it in for a new clutch Question

We're already on our 2nd - 1st went at 25k miles and we suspect this one is going too (47k), hence not minding to give it a bit of grief to speed it on it's way before the warranty runs out. And no we don't make a habit of dragging lorries or own a caravan. Ho hum

Heaviest thing my FL2 towed when i had it was my mates Isuzu Trooper LWB, towed it about 10 miles with no fuss.
