Any Perth Freelander owners done Powerlines?

Ok I'm getting a bit bored here doing the usual beach driving
So has any of the Freelander 2 owners in Perth done the Mundaring Powerlines track?
It looks do able as long as it's not too wet and it looks like something that would improve my driving skills in other terrains.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thumbs Up

Yes, I did it as a part of LR experience day. Absolutely loved it. If you like, I can send you some photos so you can see what type of "exercise" each part of the track is good for. MY10 TD4 SE Auto

Hi Impact
Thanks for the reply, Yes some photos would be great.

I might sign myself up for LR Experience day and learn how to get the best out my Freelander offroad.
Did you do it through the dealer or did you go with Green Oval Experience or someone else?
Cheers

I did it through the dealer. But they don't actually do it themselves, they get a LR trained contractor to do it. You're right it really does build your confidence in the vehicle. At one point they got us to speed up to 80km/h down a gravel road and then stand on the brake as hard as you can. Now, prior to this day I would've never attempted that. Not on a gravel road anyway. The vehicle just took care of everything and came to an expedient stop. No fuss, no dust.....

I couldn't workout how to include the photos in the message, so I uploaded them to my gallery. MY10 TD4 SE Auto

Great photos, looks like a great day out.
I have to get my Freelander serviced next month so while it's in there I will organise a LR Experience day.
The salesman did mention it at the time of purchase and at the time I was too eager to get out on the road with my new car so it never happened.

Great pics!!

I would love to give the power lines track a go. Not sure about going there on a weekend in a "Softroader" though...
