Didn't know the UK Spec Freelander 2 had tyre pressure monitoring |

I believe under EU law that if a TPMS system is fitted to the vehicle then all wheel sensors must be working, if one fails and you don't want to replace it then the whole system has to be disabled. |

kwik fit don't know what they are talking about, fitting a normal rubber valve would not have made any different as the car does not have TPMS

I recently had a load of loose wheels re-valved, got charged 」10 a wheel by the tyre shop including balancing.

Does the spare have a TPMS sender fitted to it? If not, surely that would put a fault up. My Golf has a version of TPMS fitted and in common with a lot of vehicles, it runs off the ABS sensors - there's nothing in the wheel. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

As you and others have said UK spec car don't have TPMS, so you can take them off |

Has anyone tried to retro-fit TPMS to their Freelander on here as yet? Could be an interesting mod... Foraging near Gaydon....
