...there is a lot of diferences between semi and fully synthetic oils - to describe them would take very long post.

If it makes less carbon is it better for the cat and dpf ? |

For DPF you have to use only special oils with reduced sulphate ash volume as regular oils include fully synthetic will fill up the DPF quite quickly - these oils are often marked as C1 ,C3,C4 . |
