Why do ebay sellers waste their time and money with adverts like this:?

I wondered why. Now I know. I've been caught before on Ebay - ordering and paying for stuff aledgedly in stock and then being told there's a 3 week wait! I always get my money back straight away and go elsewhere. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I queried this price when I was after a rear spoiler. I was told that they
put that price when they are out of stock....Why not just put 'out of
stock'???????

Yes but look at the sold prices - £150. So they clearly want to re-list.

I actually mailed these guys suggesting the wrong price; just out of courtesy mind as I don't need the roof rails.

They didn't reply.
