I've seen other reports of multi CD player's showing "Pause" and have tried using the volume control to un-pause but alas nothing happens. The only way is to turn the ignition off and back on. Any idea's?

Not had any problem with mine other than when using discs I've recorded at home.
The worst were discs I recorded in MP3 format on recordable discs that were a couple of years old. These would skip when I drove over slight bumps in the road and simply lock up the player when trying to change tracks or select other discs. I'd eventually manage to eject them, sometimes by repeatedly pressing eject or by turning off and back on.
I've since bought new 'quality' recordable discs and my player hasn't missed a beat since.

Mine is still doing this but LR unable to fail. Strange and annoying happenings....
