bicycle tyre buckled ??

just noticed that the rear tyre on my bicycle looks a bit buckled.

the wheel itself is ok as if I watch it go through the brake blocks it is perfect, so it seems to be a buckle in the tyre ?

( tyre is a schwalbe sammy slick 700x35mm at about 80psi )

any of you guys have an idea on the best way forward, and any comments appreciated.

It is possible for the tyre to delaminate and bulge. Most tyres have a moulding line which follows the rim , check if that line is an even distance from the rim on both sides , if it ain't the the tyre can feel like a buckle. Basically it's not seated right.

Only time I have had that type of situation is when not fitted tube 'properly' and ended up with a 'lump'
might be worth checking tube otherwise safer with new tyre 2011 XS,Sumatra Black, GONE MARCH 2014- RR Evoque Prestige 5 door ,MY 2014,Loire Blue, Silver Roof, Panoramic roof.

Try letting it down, wiggling it about and re-inflating.

I've had this happen with bike tyres. Try letting all the air out and re-seating the tyre. It may have not been fitted properly. Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

it's not tubeless, I may have to remove the tyre and check out if the tube is twisted.

Tube can bulge over time in one spot.

Try using different tube and talc it before it goes in to stop it catching tyre/rim
