Odd moment in my 07 SE Auto yesterday:- parked outside house and was unable to move auto gearshift from D thru to P. It would go as far as R, but then button on top of shift seemed not to work. I tried several times to no avail. So I drove off again, returning minutes later, parked and selected P with no problem.

Anyone got any idea what may have happened. Shift still feels a bit odd and "sticky". Are there any know issues with the top button wearing or failing? Life is not a dress rehearsal!
