Headlamp converters

I'm about to head off to the Alps in my 2011MY (ie post facelift). It has the standard lights although with decent Nightbreaker bulbs. Lens is clear acetate or polycarb - so no lines or pattern for guidance Do you stick beam converters on or do you have to buy some fancy add on. If you do stick them on, where do you stick them and how do you get the glue off when back in Blighty without scratching the lens? Advice or ideas gratefully received.

Life was so much simpler in the RRS, just flicked a switch and job done.......

Will that beam deflection be true for projector headlamps? That device was designed for the original halogen lamps with a reflector and may not work with projectors, just a thought.

Cars covered in snow at moment, but from memory the front glass is clear with no markings on it. Although mine is HID so will have the lever inside.

No snow here but I have the little lever also, (that's near you anyway)

2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Baltic Blue

Andy - the convertors I bought had the instructions in the packet with a link to their website showing where they go.

It's all quite straightforward and you need some meths to clean off the lens after you remove them.
