Hi everyone, new here but I have just sold my disco 2 and bought a FL2.

I picked it up on Tuesday and the last thing the salesman said before i drove off was oh and this is your tyre repair kit, they dont come with a spare tyre now!!!

Well sorry but I like the thought of a good old spare tyre in the back not some gunk that you hope seals the hole.

If anyone has a 6 spoke 17 inch alloy(the solid one with a channel in the middle) with a 235/65 tyre on it I would be interested in buying one.

I looked at the steel wheels but thought that an alloy that goes faster than 50mph would be better.

These come up fairly regularly on here.

You will do better getting the Jack from the local Dealer, they are between £30 and £40 now, they get on the bay but with a tenner postage your Dealer will do a better deal, or try Dan with the Forum Free Postage.

Just got a spare wheel, £85 for 6 spoke alloy and part worn wrangler delivered.

I will have a word with the dealer about the jack kit, ebay have they for about £50 not including the retaining bolt to hold the spare wheel down.

Suggest ebay,
I picked one up off ebay last year then had new tyre fitted, Its worth noting steel wheel spare is not recommended when towing.
