Best car for a get-a-way driver?

If someone was planning on a bank robbery (not me!! its just a question that popped into my head whilst day dreaming!!) What would be the best or most reliable vehicle to use?? I was thinking the clutch might die on a freelander!! Any funny suggestions?? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White.

There are only two vehicles allowed for escaping from a bank robbery,

1) The MK1 Ford Transit, and

2) the 3.8 litre S type Jag,

oh and just a tip, if you find yourself being chased onto a derelict industrial site by Jack Regan in a Ford Consul , try to avoid putting your nearside wheels onto any impromtu earth ramps, it invariably ends in tears Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Has to be the old Jaguar XJR in black. Clarkson once said that if you parked one outside a bank and went shopping, you would get the feeling it was in there robbing the place by itself. Rolling with laughter

I think it was something like 90% of armed robberies were carried out in a Mk 1 Transit wasn't it?

For me it would have to be some sort of police car - All other traffic would then move out of the way Laughing
