Wobble Nuts

Just been reading a post over on Disco3

He has found some wobble nuts, they change the PCD due to a floating washer

Has anybody come across these as this could be a way of fitting D3 or RRS wheels if the tolerences can bring them into line with the FL2

http://www.priracing.com/section.php?xSec=180

If you want to look at them

what are the PCD on the FL2, D3, RRS & FFRR? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Not liking them much, I feel wheel nuts are a bit too important to be messing with. Im sure they are safe but I would be unnerved by them.

Feel free to put them on your caravan though Laughing

I didn't realise the fl2 had nuts rather than studs

Well, For my sins I`ve been pigging about with trucks, cars, and tractors for the whole of my 70 years, and I have never, ever, heard of "wobble nuts"
Would some one enlighten me ?
But not CG as he is anti caravans and i`m off for the weekend to Blackpool tomorrow !!

Mr Pinks, Just looked at the link, me sure dont like the idea of a Variable Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD). Sounds like a contradiction in terms to me unless it means you can set the wheels off centre to axle centre line. Whacky Races anyone? still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit
