I have just done a heart transplant to my 2010 2.2 GS auto which as bought came with big end knock, I bought a 'new' complete LR Freelander ex test engine which has obviously done little hours (its spotless inside) and used the core engine for my car; I have reason to think it may have been a test engine for the SD4 190HP as the turbo is rather bigger than mine, (generally confirmed by Alex due to water cooled Turbo). I now have all ancilliaries for sale from the test engine, parts of which include:-
1/. Clutch - sold to Mark
2/.Garret hi output Turbo, almost as new but larger than standard, complete on stainless steel exhaust manifold with dedicated heat shield, the turbo has water cooled bearings! Shows numbers Type TD04L4A-11TK9-VG S/No 916004, PTNo 96870 49680MFD 49594-65201 £sold
3/.EGR valve complete, its the version with a vacuum operated valve at its inlet shows number BEHR BGAS U6403002 68/51557 Nr 45 12/08 PSA/DW12C £120
4/. Injectors (4 off) showing numbers 0903L3 9687454480A £90 each
5/. single rail manifold with both pressure sensors. £40
6/. Vacuum pump £ 30
7/. HP fuel pump £200
8/.drivers side lower rear engine mount £20
9/. drivers side cradle that bolts to the engine to support the drive shaft £20
10/.Engine wiring harness £50
11/.Many other engine parts, the main block and head I want to hold on to for a few weeks as my security whilst I prove the replacement is OK
All prices are for collect only from DE56 post code, if needed I could post at £5.00 packing plus whatever is the actual over the counter cost at my post office although i'm not sure if the turbo might be too heavy.
The engine component dates would suggest April 2009 build date.

The clutch assembly comprises a cover pressure plate, the friction disc and the dual mass flywheel and is for a manual (autos have a flex plate flywheel and torque converter).
The cover pressure plate hasnt been operationally used and still has the lathe turning finish. The friction disc is unused. The dual mass flywheel still has the lathe turned finish and has not been used as a clutch however its clearly been run on the engine for its test sequence, because it has been run you get that free with the clutch cover and plate. 2010GS Auto ex Celeb, Santorini Black, 2011 facelift , spoiler, spats, mudflaps, LED footwell lamps, Witter detach,

Ive still got my original FL2.2 engine complete assembly block sump head etc still fully together as hoisted out of the car however i'm still wanting to keep for a while whilst I prove that the replacement engine is OK.

I will add another post when I am ready to sell or strip the engine.

I want to ask you how much do you want for the complete engine. I would like to know its build date and how many miles does it have runned.

More precisely, I know for sure that I need one piston and the complete cylinder head. Most likely I would also need some other parts.

Let me know when you will be ready to sell the engine.
