Got a quick one!

When i glide to a stop in neutral, but with the clutch pedal out, then engine at 1 or 2mph seems to drop the rev ans sound if its going to stall, its doesn't stall it then picks up back to normal, 800-900rpm. is this normal? Or not? (Not something i have come across on cars before!)

The Freelander is fitted with an anti stall device, when you are off road in some conditions a stall could be dangerous so the wizardry tries to prevent a stall, it's obviously working

OK cool!! But why are the revs dropping that low?

Been discussed on here before. No real conclusion but seems to be fairly normal. Mine does it but it's never actually stalled.
