Fuel reseve ?

The tank holds 68l . Fuel warning light on , OBC say 15km to go , gauge disagrees and shows zero...

Yet I put 75l when filling up straight after the pic was taken...

When both gauge and OBC shows zero, how much reserve fuel do I have or did I pretty much max it this afternoon...? Confused

In and around tow consumption = 10.5km (9,5l/100km) to the liter between tanks, OBC recons 9,2l/100km average...

If the tank holds 68l, you need to add the capacity of the filler pipe (and, presumably of the pump and pipe linking the two saddles). No idea what the result would be though.

The filler pipe could hold a couple litres.

When our warning light comes on, (The landrover light..... Rolling Eyes ), it usually takes 60 - 62 litres to fill up until the pump clicks off.....

I have a picture of mine from last week with it on 45 degrees C. Can't upload it at the moment. It was on 48 degrees a few hours earlier but I didn't have the phone with me.
