I am looking to buy and fit chrome embellishment covers to my Santorini Black 2010 (pre 2011 facelift) FL2 GS.
There are plastic stick on covers and metal ones from many suppliers inc many on ebay.
Please can members give me their comments on what supplier and make they have bought and how happy they are so I can make a sucessful purchase. I would hate to spend £60 plus and regret having made wrong choice.

Cannot offer advice on where to buy but there are two different styles of mirror.
Pre 2010 iirc as you look down from the top of the mirror, if the Visor above the mirror is curved you need the Stick on type using 3M Tape.
After 2010 MY10 the mirrors changed slightly, they have a slightly larger glass area and as you look down from the top, the Visor above the glass is straight, for these you pop out the cover and replace with the Colour of your choice.

I got door handle covers, mirror covers and a rear boot cover for my 07, I got them via ebay but think they came from LRParts.net

They were plastic stick on ones and seem pretty good quality, my only "complaint" would be is that on close inspection they seem to have small chips in them, not very big, about the size of grains of salt. these have started to turn a bright green inside so I assume its from grit on the roads.

Having said that I wash my car about once a year, so for anyone else not as lazy as myself they prop wont have that problem
