My son applied last year an got in.
He'd already done BTEC elec/electronics off his own bat. I'm sure it helped.
However, there were over 4,000 applicants for around 150 places.
Gaydon is a very busy place nowadays with future models and JLR show no signs of slowing down Thumbs Up

Needless to say the huge discounts for JLR employees for L/R parts etc, means i'll be staying with the brand Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
