United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Lago Grey
Reliability again...

Warranty Direct has been at it again - this time reporting on the manufacturers with the most reliable engines. And once again Land Rover is up there towards the top, this time at number 10 - but that's all LRs this time, not just the FL2, so it's a pretty good result. Audi, BMW and VW are reported as having some of the least reliable engines available. Honda are the most reliable, followed by Toyota. More here:

Nice, The old Ford Premier Auto Group (PAG) (Volvo,Land Rover, Jaguar , excluding AM)is in the top ten. No doubt due to the sharing of the same Volvo and Jaguar designed engines between the 4 brands.

Tata should take note: Don't worry about building your own engines. The new engine factory they are building could send LR back to the unreliable Leyland years (or the 90's Rover k v6), until they get the bugs worked out.
