Noticed mine are a bit lazy when the car's pointing uphill. But they're six years old now and I think there are more important things to worry about!

Yep, noticed mine were lazy. Smacked my head twice in two visits as not lifting as high.

It will be the Gas inside, the cold weather makes the Gas contract, will be ok when the weather warms up. |

I have the same problem. It started with the cold weather. The tailgate just rises to a certain level (right where my forehead is) and I have to assist it to go all the way up.
