Yes, have you the infamous rattle from the 'glovebox' area Question or the rattle from where the drivers seat belt emerges from the pillar, or the drivers window that rattles unless you press the down for a millisecond.

Or maybe it's the rear view mirror rattle or the small, high, door speaker rattle?

I have the drivers window rattle. Is there a cure?

Sadly I don't think there is Bryan, I have not read of one. I suppose if the door card was removed and a bit of lube here and there, ensuring the loom is not close to any moving bits etc then just maybe.
It has been reported on here but no answer to its cause.

Thanks for that. Its not a problem and as you say a quick touch of the window button seems to give a temp cure.

Thought of removing the door card raises possibility of more rattles so I am not going there.

Re: Reduced engine performance light?

Update.
Landrover Assist guy arrived in his Discovery. Ran an diagnostic scan. Came up with two codes as follows:- P0087-22 Fuel rail pressure too low & P0088-27 Fuel rail pressure too high.
Was related to a clogged fuel filter. He changed it, charged me £42 Thumbs Up Now running A1 Thumbs Up As not covered under Landrover used warranty.
Saved myself some money, would have cost around £250 at the stealers. £100 for the diagnostic + cost of filter replacement.
The filter was suppose to have been changed by the stealers June last year. Landy had only covered 4k since Shocked
Result in the end.
Have old filter, may brake it open to have a look. When he drained the filter it was very discoloured, so did it's job. Least I now know my code raeder does not work on Landrovers Laughing

Very pleased with service received from Landrover Assist Smile Not the dealers. Landy has now gone.

Apologies DOF should have read DPF. Boroboy I have been fortunate to drive many cars, BMW, Audi, VW etc and I can honestly say that the FL2 is by far the most enjoyable. If they could sort the annoying rattles out I would not look further than a Landrover again. My next car will be a Discovery!

Vaux man mainly myself. Bought landy for my wife. Not many rattles from landy though. Ours is the S model & I don't find the seats very comfy, as they're manual. Don't have much lumbar support, unlike the elec seats with lumbar adjustment. Didn't realise that when we took it out for a test drive. Other than that, I really like it. Especially in this weather & when it's running well :lol:Mine is 58 model without a DPF. Just as well, as wife does not cover alot of mileage. Landy has now gone.

My rattles are from the glovebox (Fixed once), the passenger door pillar area and the sunroof area - irritating but not an emergency. Apart from that it is a great veh, I was very impressed with the Landrover Assist guys Discovery though and may investigate it further.
