It should Auto Lock the doors when you get above 10mph, it's a safety feature, you will as you say have to press the switch on the dash, it's normal. Could it be that the times it doesn't do it are the short distances that ou have not reached 10mph and activated the Auto Lock or you have stopped the vehicle and turned off the engine allowing you to then open the doors normally |

Many thanks ad210358, that is how it works. Did not realise you had to turn the engine off to enable the door lock. All makes sense. |

Never had this in mine. Agreed that from the outside it will not open, but the passenger side should open internally. |

Not in mine, if I stop and drop off the passenger, the door opens first pull. Don't have to unlock doors or turn engine off. Was the same in my 07 plate. |
