I had to jump start my fl2 this morning, when I got it started the whole of the instrument panel was dead,
This happened again this dinner time, but tonight when I started it up everything worked fine, my question
Is, should I be concerned or taking to the dealer to look at ? Freelander 1 se 1.8 petrol

Ive had this happen twice, seemed to be after I had had the ignition on without starting the engine, ie press the start button but not pressing the pedal down, then next time I went to start the engine, no instrumentation working, switch off then try again all was ok.

Been out a few times today in it.
No signs of any problems, Think I'm gonna treat it

The FL2 electronic systems don't like low voltage so I guess the fact that you had to jumpstart the car means you had nothing in the battery. This tends to cause odd messages or glitches with the instrument panel. John
