They look like very early concepts, but some nice ideas there. Some looked like they'd work well with an electric motor in the hub - the ultimate hybrid 4x4 drivetrain, each wheel independently driven with magnetic levitation suspension build into the wheel itself. 2020 Range Rover?

They're not really anything new to be honest, I have pages and pages of sketch work with wheel ideas similar to that from when I was at Uni. They were also a relatively minimal part of the project.

Interestingly about the Asian countries copying, during our degree show in 2011, we noticed Asian students taking pictures of everything.
