Agreed. James May is the only one of the three who seems to have sensible programmes in his portfolio, instead of just cashing in on the current wave of popularity gained from Top Gear. Mind you, I did quite like the Hamster in his American series on driving huge industrial machines. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Top Gear needs to rewind about 5 years to when they still took things semi-seriously. Recent series have been full of infantile silliness, with the India special probably being the ultimate in childishness. Unfortunately those preview pics look like the new series is going to be more of the same I guess I'll still be watching it though - infantile it may be, but there's currently nothing else car-related on to challenge it. |

I am happy to be entertained by the three stooges, they do great down to earth articles in their mag, and on their webpage, 5th gear tried the informative standpoint, and meh... its just boring to watch if you are not in the market for a car really..

i've always liked TG, it is becoming very predictable and staged, and i do fear they are running out of ideas but it's good for a laugh! and Clarkson's facetiousness is quite funny! He probably laughs when the complaints start rolling in because he knows he has had a successful show!! |
