Interesting point Taz. I have been monitoring various weather forums and reports and there is one of two expected Sudden Stratospheric Warmings going on this weekend. The second by next weekend I think and there is a couple of weeks delay before the effects are felt.

I blame The Doctor, we have had snow for the last three years prior to last year, ever since he got the "Snow Grooves" we have had nothing. |

In fairness, the grooves came in last February when the snow was quite bad. Only problem was it didn't last more than a few days. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

That was an option but was dashed when I called The Nevis Range and said the downhill slopes are closed in winter Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35 Family's: 2009 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Auto, Stornoway Yorkshire - God's County |

Some of the upper runs are open, the lower ones are poor though. Last week was worse, loads of snow but high winds so all the tows were off.
