Does anyone know of any nice climbing plants for a trellis that will flower in the winter? I'm starting to plan my little garden for next winter. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

You're a tad far north for winter flowers in Yorkshire. Possibly try Winter Beauty Clematis (clematis europhylla). Passion flowers would give evergreen leaves but may be unlikely to flower in winter so far north.

I dont know much about gardening! I will check out the clematis. I was wondering if i can bring a little colour to the garden in the winter. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Good call Bob - according to the RHS website "Jasminum nudiflorum (winter jasmine) is fully hardy and can be grown outdoors throughout the UK."

I like it, maybe put a hanging basket on each mirror. |

Hanging baskets - genius idea - thanks Stevie, the little coat hooky things are perfect for dangling them - not on the driver's side of course. Something fragrant perhaps - sweet peas might do nicely.
