What a machine

Hi Guys Very Happy

Just wanted to let you know what a fantastic machine we have all bought.

I work in the middle of the North Yorkshire moors and my usual way home is down a 16% gradiant hill which lasts for about 3 miles. This road is bad at the best of times, but in the snow it is a death trap. I was working nights Friday, Saturday and Sunday and over night Friday the heavens opened and down came the snow, North Yorkshire council didnt grit any of the roads so to be safe i went home via Harrogate town centre which is a flat run to my home 30 miles away, this took me about an extra 45 - 60 minutes. Saturday night the same happened again but this time it was worse at least 6 inches came down and what was down already had frozen, again the council hadnt gritted, Sunday morning i needed to get home quickly so i decided to use the hill, my work mates said that i was mad but i thought i would try, No problems at all no skidding, sliding or anything smooth as di. My collegues were gob smacked when i turned up for work on Sunday night without a scratch on my pride and joy. Thumbs Up

So guys what i would say is dont worry about any conditions the car can handle it all. Cool

Cheers

Just keep proving the Gordon/Ken/Looney Brigade never drove out of central London but want to treat the rest of the country like it was. Enjoy every minute of brilliant performance in adversity.
Why grow up ever! still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit
