750 sounds about right - I've seen 780 +/- 30 quoted, which would make 750 within spec.

His profile suggests he has a manual car, mine is an Auto and I agree that there is a little intrusion when in D, sometimes worse than others, i wonder if the electrical load changes this, more so in this weather when seats, window heaters etc are on? |

Electrical load certainly changes the rev speed, so does braking. I've not known it change on its own though. If there is something switching on and off (thermostat on one of the electric heating units perhaps) that could explain it. |

Idle speed is 750 stationary but 800-850 when rolling. Nothing to do with the handbrake (and its associated light) but detected by ABS sensors detecting wheel rotation Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
